It lives in fresh water rivers, lakes and swamps. Their numbers are increasing to over 1 million. Hatchlings and Juveniles are eaten by birds, raccoons and bobcats and even bigger Alligators. Then as nature will have its day, turn around is fair play and the adult Alligators eat anything they can get.
